Purple Pilchard?
The
thinking behind Purple Pilchard.
We could claim
that being a small pilchard swimming in the swirling seas of FMCG has real
advantages. Our compact size means we are more sensitive to tidal changes
in the marketplace and as a result can move a lot quicker than your
average tubby tuna or basking shark.
Pilchards are incredibly dogged little chaps Let's face it,
when you are the size of an organic carrot dashing around the seven seas
you have to be big on determination and 'can do' attitude.
We would never claim to have the flashiest fins or the shiniest
scales, however unlike your average show-boating puffer fish what you see
is what you get.
Alternatively we could simply admit to choosing a silly name
that people would remember.
